Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation and Treatment Planning
The initial visit involves completing a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, which identifies risk factors that may impact a patient's mental health. Mental illness diagnoses are made based on assessments, and then an effective plan of care is determined using psychotherapy modalities and psychopharmacology for the individual. The treatment plan involves collaborating with other professionals to set a regimen of therapy and prescription medication to improve the person's mental health. As we evaluate progress, we will continue to provide support and education as needed.
Treatment Methods and Tools Utilized
Using technology-based therapeutic tools such as telehealth in behavioral health services to see patients via telehealth on an expanded schedule (weekends evenings and holidays by request). Use of comprehensive psychiatric evaluation questionnaire to diagnose and develop treatment plans. Use of standardized clinical rating scales to establish individual baseline and to monitor progress or decompensation over time. Screening tests to aid in making a diagnosis and ruling out other disorders
